Explosion hits Chilean air carrier, no casualties reported

A bomb explosion hit the building of an airline company in Chile's capital Santiago Tuesday evening, the second bombing in two days after a bomb blast hit a bank late Monday,christian louboutin bridal shoes, police said.

The explosion occurred at 20:20 local time on Tuesday (0020 GMT Wednesday) near the gate of LAN Airlines.

It caused neither casualties nor damage to nearby buildings, said District Attorney Xavier Armendariz.

Police officers investigating the scene said they had found a beverage bottle in a trash can in front of the company's gate. The bottle contained hydrochloric acid and coins, which were thought to be residue of the explosives.

Less than 24 hours ago, a bomb explosion struck a bank in the La Florida district of the Chilean capital,moncler, shattering the bank's glass door and causing tension among local residents.

It was the first bomb explosion in Chile this year,moncler sale, authorities said.

Although no casualties were reported for the case, Mario Schilling, spokesperson for the local procuratorate, said the bomber would be severely punished.
